Took Uce into the vet today, this time the nice ones that don't want to kill you on the costs! Looks like the $5k total was overkill that the ER vet was estimating. We still won't know for sure about what's wrong with Uce until tmrw as they are doing an ultrasound and possibly a biopsy. But, the cost is way more affordable at our normal vet.
We're cautiously optimistic that we'll hear good news tmrw. Uce might not like it, but we might wind up having to do a feeding tube. Sounds drastic, but it actually makes their feeding a lot less stressful.
