B.A.E.

B.A.E. means Bad Ass Electrician, and that's just what my brother is! He brought his family out for Thanksgiving, then gave me the piece of mind of having anything that might be remotely dangerous fixed in our house.

He also set us up with some motion sensor lights around the house to increase the security level as well!

It was really fun to see, and visit with him for so long as he usually works himself to the bone.

Also got to have fun with his family as I think they blew up our Wii! Tyler was a monster on tennis by the end of the two days, and Tacey got into the action as a pretty good golfer on Wii Sports. She's only like 5, so I was impressed. Troy, 3, even played and got a couple of hits in baseball. Had to hold him back a few times, as he got pretty excited. I think our TV got frightened a few times!

If you haven't seen the insanity that can occur while playing Wii, check out http://www.wiiinjury.com/. Lots of injuries and damage can occur. I'm just stoked that they had so much fun playing the Wii, and nothing majorly bad happened. I think Tacey got whacked in the face a bit, but after a bit of crying it looked like no harm, no foul. She was back to smiling and wanting to play again.

Was really fun to have them out!

Next weekend is going to be great as well since Erin's parents looks to be heading down from Utah to visit and see the house. Enjoying stress free family time is what the holidays are all about!

It's Raining!

It has been such a long time since it has rained here. It is suppose to rain for the next couple of days so I am excited. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so Happy Thanksgiving to all that read this. Mine is going to be like every other day, I will be at work. The only advantage about that is I get free food and get paid time and a half.

Our house is slowly coming along. I just need to find spots for everything and I will be done. As for the apartment, we got done cleaning that last Friday. It was nice getting that out of the way so we can just concentrate on the house.

Well, I hope everybody has a Happy Gobble Gobble Day tomorrow.

Uppercut from Hell

We just watched a really good night of fights last night, and we all were blown away by this uppercut. It was flat-out amazing! The guy who gets knocked out was actually ahead on points until he ate the uppercut from hell!

It was a fun night. Ben and his dad came over as well as Cisco. These are the types of nights that are the reason we moved down to Tempe in the first place. Get to be around our friends and not have to drive 30-60 minutes just to see anyone.

It Drives Me Crazy...

That they are playing Christmas music on the radio stations. Thanksgiving is not even here yet. What goes on in these peoples minds? They put out Christmas stuff in stores before Halloween even. Every year it gets earlier and earlier. Pretty soon they will just leave it up year round.

Sorry for the rant.

We Got Cable Internet Again

Where to begin.....

Jason and I are still slowly moving stuff from our apartment into our house. It is crazy how much junk we really have. It is slowly getting put away, and our house is starting to look like a house. There is so much stuff I want to do to the house, but it is just going to have to wait. We have been so busy trying to do the inside we are forgetting about the outside. When you live in an apartment you are not use to doing outside stuff as in watering the grass, weeding, and the pool. So the other day Jason and I went and bought a saw and a nozzle for the hose and we worked on the outside. I cut down some branches off of our lemon tree that was on the top of our roof, and some that were already breaking off.

Work has been crazy for both Jason and I. He has been pulling crazy hours, for example, 2:30 A.M. UGH! It is hard to get a good night sleep when you hear an alarm at the crazy hour since I get up around 4:30ish. Since we now live down in Tempe I have a longer commute. I did the distance on my car and it is 23 miles one way, so it takes me about a half hour. It is not so bad other than I zone out a lot and they have a bunch of Photo Enforced Radars all over the freeway. Hopefully I will not be getting a ticket in the mail anytime soon! Also at work, state was just there to do their yearly survey. They said we did excellent, so I'm excited.

Oh yeah, about the pool. The other day when it was about 75 degrees outside and the water was about 70 degrees I jumped in! haha it was cold, but I wanted to swim since it is belongs to us.

Cox Cable Officially Sucks

I so can't wait until Verizon FIOS is available for our new house. Now, we're going to be out of Internet service for two weeks at home because the previous cable install at the house was dry-rotted. That means that we have to wait two weeks until Cox can get out there to basically reinstall cable from the front of the street.

As soon as we find another option, we're done with Cox.

Been awhile

Sorry for taking awhile to blog. We spent most of the weekend moving, and slept in our new house for the first time last night. It was pretty cool. Our cats are still figuring the place out.

We still have a few more runs to get everything moved, but we should be in full-time something this weekend!

Really appreciate my dad coming out with the truck and helping us with the move. It was huge! Really took a lot of stress off the process, plus he showed me a thing or two about our pool.
